I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to represent the people of Hawaii in the United States Senate. We live in exciting times where we have the opportunity to look ahead and build a clean energy economy which creates jobs and protects our precious environment. At the same time, we must never forget our commitments to our keiki, kupuna, and veterans.
Balancing these priorities requires leaders who listen and work collaboratively to get things done. As your Senator, I will be a tireless advocate for the concept that Hawaii is a special place with talented people who can make a difference for our country and the world. These are the values that I bring to the U.S. Senate, and I pledge to be your voice in Washington.
I look forward to hearing your ideas and working together to make Hawaii an even better place to live.
